Welcome to the Kanapaha Music Website! This website was designed our to give you, the viewer, the most up-to-date information on our spectacular music program. The “News & Upcoming Events” section below informs our parents and community of our upcoming concerts, fundraisers, field trips, and other musical events. To the left you will find links to our “Class” pages that contain important student resources such as class expectations, homework, worksheets, and rehearsals. | • | Welcome Back Students & Parents! Mr. McNeill and the Kanapaha Band Boosters welcomes all new and returning students and parents to another great year! |
| • | Band Parent Meeting (IMPORTANT!) The first Kanapaha Band Parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 14th in the band room. The meeting will begin promptly at 6:30pm. We need every family to attend so that you may receive information on the band program, concerts and events, fair share, and trips. We look forward to seeing you there! |
| • | Beginning Band Parents- All students have been tested on and assigned instruments. Now that instruments have been assigned, you will need to rent or purchase an instrument from one of our local musical instrument dealers: -Hoggtowne Music (next to Publix in Hunter's Crossing) -Great Southern Music (next to Oaks Mall) |
| • | Symphony Band Performance at Wiles Elementary- The Kanapaha Symphony Band will be performing along with Wiles Elementary Chorus at their annual Veteran's Day Celebration Concert. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 9. Time TBA. Come out and see us! |
